School Transport Letter Sent

Tattenhall & District Parish Council have written to CW&C Cllr Martin Barker, Chairman of the CW&C Scrutiny Committee requesting that the committee undertakes a thorough review of the home to school transport policy.

Councillors heard from a number of parents at their last meeting who raised concerns regarding the policy which had led to a number of year 7 students who have just started at the Bishop Heber High School being told they were not eligible for free school transport.

It was was reported that all the students have now been given free transport however this is an ongoing issue which comes up every year causing a great deal of confusion and stress for parents and students.
