Since its rebirth The Spinney has become the focus of a number of community events.

February 2022 – Children’s Art Workshop
Children created art from natural materials found in The Spinney led by environmental artist Tim Pugh.
Painting Workshops 2022
During 2022 a number of painting workshops for both adults and young people were run by local artist Jon Clayton
Poetry Workshops 2022
John Lindley ran a number of poetry workshops for adults and children producing poems about the Spinney the resulting poetry books were than sold in aide of the Ukraine.
Willow Workshop 2022
A willow workshop was held in February 2022 when people made willow butterflies and dragon flies which were put in the Spinney.
Spinney Arts Exhibition 13th March 2022
A exhibition was held on 13th March 2022 to display the art works created and where a number of poems were read from the Poetry Book
