Neighbourhood Plan Review Agenda

The agenda for the next Neighbourhood Plan Review Committee Meeting on the 24th February is now available.

The meeting, which is open to the public, will be held virtually via ZOOM any members of the public wishing to attend should contact the Clerk in advance of the meeting by email, or by calling 01948 861 035.

Concerning the proposal for a cycle lane along the canal from Tattenhall Road to Chester, I think it is an excellent idea as the towpath is very muddy and a cycle track would improve the experience for walkers as well. Following on from this , the footpath along Tattenhall Road has been a great success with many more walkers using it. This combined with the new development will lead to a lot more people on the bridges which are dangerous for walkers wanting to access the canal.
    It would improve the safety of walkers if there was a footpath over the bridges with traffic lights controling a single traffic lane as has happened at Golden Nook bridge.
    I would hope that this is something that you could support.
